Will new medications/treatments be available soon? (what’s in the pipeline)

New medications are becoming available all the time. For example, a new oral medication called ozanimod was approved by the FDA in 2021 for ulcerative colitis. New medications in development typically target various parts of the inflammatory pathway that causes ulceration in the GI tract.
