Whatisa fistula? How do I manage/treat them?

Inflammation from IBD can cause a type of tunnel to form between two areas, known as a fistula. A fistula can connect two parts of the intestine or the intestine and another area such as the bladder. Some types of fistulas may be treated with medication such as antibiotics, but most will require some type of surgery.
