Symptoms of an Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) flare can include: diarrhea, increased frequency or urgency of bowel movements, blood in stool, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and/or weight loss. Your doctor may confirm these symptoms are a flare-up of your IBD to make sure you don\’t have anything else, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or infection.
