How do I accept that I have Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)?
Some people find learning more about IBD and what it is like to live with IBD helpful in thinking through and accepting their diagnosis. You may find support groups online, work with your doctor, or both. You can also think through your values, what is important to you, and work to make those values priorities in your every day life. Having IBD does not mean that you cannot lead a life that is valued and valuable.
